Declaration of Holidays on 10-02-2026 & 11-02-2026 (02 days) in respect of Education Institutions only in Municipal Limits and schools in the District Bhupalpally

where all the staff are deployed for election duty.

The District Collector and District Election Authority, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, has declared local and public holidays in connection with the 2nd Ordinary Elections to Municipalities and Municipal Corporations, 2026, for Bhupalpally Municipality.

 Key points:

 Polling will be held on 11.02.2026 (Wednesday) from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM for Bhupalpally Municipality. 

11.02.2026 is declared a public holiday for government offices, local bodies, government institutions, and under the Negotiable Instruments Act / Shops and Establishments Act in the notified areas. 

10.02.2026 (Tuesday), the day before poll, and 13.02.2026 (Friday), the counting day, are declared local holidays for buildings used for election-related activities (public, educational and other institutions).

 Employees of public and private undertakings in the notified areas are to be given a local holiday or time off on 11.02.2026 to cast their votes.

 District-level officers (Education, Labour, Public Relations, etc.) are directed to take immediate action and publicize these holiday declarations.
