PMSHRI Annual School Grant 2025-26, Telangana

 State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, Telangana released 50% of the Annual School Grant for 794 PMSHRI (PM SHRI) schools.

- Total grant approved: ₹721.25 lakhs; released amount (50%): ₹360.625 lakhs.

- Schools covered: Govt. & Local body schools, Model Schools, Tribal Welfare Dept., TREIS, BC Welfare, KGBVs, TMREI, Social Welfare Schools, etc.

- Released as per UDISE+ 2024-25 student enrolment, following PAB approval.

**Grant Distribution by Student Enrolment**  

- < 100 students: ₹0.50 lakh/school

- 101-250 students: ₹0.75 lakh/school

- 251-1000 students: ₹1.00 lakh/school

- >1000 students: ₹1.50 lakh/school

**Utilization Guidelines—Permitted Activities**

- Purchase of stationery (chalk, registers, etc.), exam conduct.

- National/Annual festivals (Independence Day, Republic Day, etc.)

- Painting school boards with PMSHRI logo.

- Maintain documentation (photos/videos) of all PMSHRI activities.

- Swachhta Action Plan: At least 10% of grant for hygiene/cleanliness materials (soap, toilet cleaning, etc.)

- General maintenance, purchase of lab consumables/chemicals, drinking water, minor repairs, safety materials.

- Activities to promote WASH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene).

- Extracurriculars: Annual Day, Sports, Art, Culture, Cleanliness Drives.

**Expenditure NOT Permitted**

- Not to be used for electricity bills (as power is free), internet charges, computer/projector/ROT/TV repairs, digital class expenses, payments unrelated to direct educational or maintenance needs.

**Administrative & Financial Protocols**

- SMC (School Management Committee) must pass and retain resolution for grant utilization.

- Social audit and display of expenses on notice board.

- Stock/registers, cash books to be maintained for transparency.

- Headmasters responsible for proper use of grants as per guidelines.

- DEO/MEO to monitor, and monthly SMC meetings to review utilization.

**List of Schools/Breakup**

- Annexure provides the district-wise list of beneficiary schools and released amounts.

- All instructions and utilization norms as per Ministry of Education (GoI) and Telangana School Education Department orders.

**Key Emphasis:**  

**Swachhta Action Plan, transparency, regular audits, proper documentation/maintenance, and restricted use for only direct student/educational benefit.**
