PM POSHAN Training Program: Key Directives and Schedule (2025-26)

PM POSHAN State,Dist and complex Level Training Programme Instructions

Instructions regarding a state-level training program under the PM POSHAN scheme in Telangana, India for the financial year 2025-26. The instructions are issued by the Director, School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad, referencing communication from the PM POSHAN's AWP&B minutes and a letter from the Associate Dean, College of Community Science, Saifabad, Hyderabad.

Key Directives and Information

• Training Program Objective: To conduct training/refresher courses for all Cook-cum-Helpers (CCHs) annually and organize cooking competitions during the financial year 2025-26, as per the directions from the PAB of PM POSHAN.

• Collaboration: The Associate Dean, College of Community Science, Saifabad, Hyderabad, has agreed to conduct one-day training sessions for Head Masters (HMs) and CCHs.

• Target Participants: Two active HMs and two active CCHs (only women from Self-Help Groups) are to be selected from each district.

• Training Dates (State Level): June 3rd and 5th, 2025, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the College of Community Science, Saifabad, Hyderabad.

• DEO Responsibilities:

  • Identify and send details of the selected HMs and CCHs to mdmtq@yahoo.com by 25.05.2025.

  • Request the selected personnel to attend the training.

• Post-Training Implementation: Participants of the state-level training must then train all Complex Head Masters and one CCH from each complex at the district level. These Complex Head Masters in turn will train all HMs in their Complex jurisdiction and one CCH from each school at the Complex Level.

• Training Deadline: All CCHs must be trained before the reopening of schools.

• Exclusion: Head Masters and Cook-cum-Helpers who were already trained during 2024-25 shall not be deputed to State level training.

• Reporting: District Educational Officers (DEOs) are required to develop a program, ensure compliance, and share a report with photos/videos to mdmtq@yahoo.com.

• RJSDSE Oversight: The Regional Joint Directors of School Education (RJDSE), Hyderabad and Warangal, are directed to follow up on the program and visit the venues as per the DEOs' schedule.

Training Schedule & Content

The training program is structured across three levels:

1. State Level: (One day)

   • Participants: Two HMs and two CCHs per district

   • Dates:

     • June 3rd, 2025: Mahabubnagar, Narayanapet, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool, Nalagonda, Suryapet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Vikarabad, Ranga Reddy, Medchal Malkajgiri, Sangareddy, Medak, Siddipet, Kamareddy, and Nizamabad Districts

     • June 5th, 2025: Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Hanamkonda, Warangal, Mulugu, Jayashankar Bhupalpalli, Adilabad, Mancherial, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Peddapalli, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Rajanna Sircilla, Jagtial, and Jangaon

   • Content:

     • Forenoon: Standard Operating Procedure

     • Afternoon: Preparation of Menu

2. District Level: (One day, on or before 09.06.2025)

   • Participants: All Complex HMs and one CCH from each complex

   • Content:

     • Forenoon: Standard Operating Procedure

     • Afternoon: Preparation of Menu

3. Complex Level: (One day, 10.06.2025)

   • Participants: All HMs of the complex and one CCH from each school

   • Content:

     • Forenoon: Standard Operating Procedure

     • Afternoon: Preparation of Menu
