DSE Submission of Rooftop Area Details for Solar Power Plant Installation in all government buildings in the State

All the District Educational Officers in the state are informed that the Energy

Department of Telangana Government is planning to establish Solar Power Plants on the rooftops of all Government buildings as part of the "Telangana Clean and Green Energy Policy-2025.

In this regard, the department has requested the submission of relevant information by 5th February 2025 through the TGREDCO website. A Google Spreadsheet link has been provided on the website for data entry. The following steps may be followed to access and upload the required details.

1. Visit the website: tgredco.telangana.gov.in

2. Click on " Solar Roof top for Govt. Buildings"

3. A screen will appear where you need to enter the Officer's personal details (Name, Mobile Number, and Office/School Name).

4. Download the Excel file using the link at the bottom of the screen (" For format, click her to download the Excel file.")

5. Fill in the required details in the 19-Column Excel file and upload it using the provided link.

All District Educational Officers are requested to upload details of the available rooftop area for schools having a minimum of 1 acre of land in Government, Local Body Schools, DIETS, CTES, etc., in their respective districts. This information is crucial for facilitating further necessary action in the matter.
